Tamiya 1/32nd A6M2 Zero,  OOB Lovely kit, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought, I would have preferred it without the moving parts which were a bit of a pain, but it does look nice when done. Build thread is  http://www.britmodel...2nd-a6m2b-zero/ Peter

Revell 1/32nd FW-190-F8

Image
Finished today, Revell's new tool FW-190 F8, with Eduard Brassin Cockpit (which is brilliant), and HGW Fabric belts which I only bought when I lost one of the PE belts from the Brassin set.  The kit is about a 7 of 10 - Nice detail in places, but some parts especially the control surfaces are simplified. I also had issues with the Undercarriage snapping. I had to drill and pin the main landing gear struts. Painted with Gunze throughout, with Oil weathering Peter

P-39N, Italian Air Force, 97^ Squadrigilia, 1944

Finished Sunday, a really quick build over the course of 2 weekends - made quicker when I dropped it and cracked the canopy, dislodged the Instrument panel and seat and lost the gunsight. Eduard's 1/48th P-39 from the MTO Dual Combo, this time as an Italian co-belligerent airforce. Really fun kit, as long as you don't drop it :-) Peter
