After the Panther wanted something simple so picked out the Ace P-51. This is the early cannon armed Allison Engined Mustang. The ACE kit is a Korean boxing of the Accurate Miniatures kit, and is nice and simple As is normal work starts with the cockpit - first the instrument panel Then built up the cockpit and sidewalls Fitted the fuselage halves together then slotted the instrument panel in from the front Finally fitted the Allison engine nose, and filled the small gaps with some Mr Dissolved Putty, then sanded back Peter

Finished this morning, one of my favourite kits the Eduard Aircobra, this time in the Special Edition MTO Theatre boxing. Painted with Gunze throughout, and weathered with Pastels, Oils and AK and Mig Solutions.   The build thread is available if interested  here   Apologies for the slightly uneven photos, but one of my lamps bulbs went part way through, so the white balance was tricky - if it ever stops snowing I may take some more outside. Well it's done - an Interesting kit, not bad fitting but overly fiddly in places, and I really wish Great Wall Hobbies learnt that wing spars are a good idea. Their masks don't work very well, the vinyl is too thick and not sticky enough. Peter
