1/32nd P-40E as a Kittyhawk Mk 1, 112 Sqn, North Africa

Finished today, Hasegawa 1/32nd P-40E Kit, with Eduard Big Ed set and Barracuda Decals to do Clive Caudwells aircraft from 112 Sqn. Masked and sprayed the mouth rather than use the decals which never seem to fit properly.   Painted with Akan paints - horrible things, and replacement Gunze for the Middle Stone. Weathered with AK Oils and Pigments in a number of layers.                     Build thread is available  here   Peter

Stug IIID, Sonderverband 288, Panzer-Grenadier Regiment -- Afrika, D.A.K., 1/35th Dragon Finished today, Dragon Stug IIID kit ( really showing it's age now ), Aber Etch, Spade Ace Tracks and scratch build air filters, jerrycan rack,repaired drive sprockets and wheel mounts to make a vehicle from Sonderverband 288.

1/32nd Trumpeter F-100D, 309 TFS/31 TFW, Tuy Hoa AB, Vietnam, 'Thor's Hammer' Finished today. Trumpeter 1/32nd Kit, with Master Pitot tube, Eduard Seatbelts, Placards and Exterior Etch. If I did another one i'd leave off the Exterior etch. Painted with Gunze Aqueous throughout. No apologies for the number of pictures  Build thread is available  here Peter

Humber Armoured Car Mk II, 11th Hussars, 7th Armoured Division 'Desert Rats'

Finished today for the 'Actung Panzer GB' over on Britmodeller, the Bronco Humber Armoured Car Mk II  OOB . This is a lovely kit but not for the faint hearted. It doesn't have a full interior, it's a complete armoured car - chassis, control linkages, engine, gear change and lots of gear inside. Painted with AK Interactive Light Stone ( From their Caunter Set ), Tamiya paints for the rest of the cammo, and Vallejo for the details. Weathered with a full range of AK Interactive / Ammo / Mig potions and pigments.

1/35th M4A3E8 "Easy Eight", 4th Armoured Div, December 1944

Finished this weekend, the lovely Tasca Sherman "Easy Eight" in a Tamiya Box. Built as a vehicle from the 4th Armoured Div, on the drive to relieve Bastogne. OOB apart from some Resin Stowage, and some home made C-Ration cartons. Peter
