Focke Wulf 190 F-8

Next up, a nice Eduard FW190-F8 Profipack. Not decided on which scheme to do yet, but it doesn't make a difference yet Photobucket So work starts with the cockpit - slotted all the plastic bits together, then added some of the PE (the non pre-printed bits) Photobucket Then added all the 'pre-printed' PE - ended up painting the PE anyway as Eduard have managed to get the RLM66 a different colour from the paint. Weathered the cockpit with some chipping, an oil wash and some dirt pigments. Photobucket Photobucket Not a bad mornings work Peter

Revell 1/32nd FW-190-F8

Finished today, Revell's new tool FW-190 F8, with Eduard Brassin Cockpit (which is brilliant), and HGW Fabric belts which I only bought when I lost one of the PE belts from the Brassin set.  The kit is about a 7 of 10 - Nice detail in places, but some parts especially the control surfaces are simplified. I also had issues with the Undercarriage snapping. I had to drill and pin the main landing gear struts. Painted with Gunze throughout, with Oil weathering Peter
